WHY WE LOVE IT

The Nautilus is without question one of the great horological icons of the 1970s, and one of the most in-demand timepiece models on the planet.

Collectors and prospectors alike are clamoring to get their hands on Genta's second great luxury sports watch, and with the recent news of the discontinuation of the flagship reference 5711 in steel, this dramatic rise in popularity shows no signs of slowing down. 

This particular Nautilus is a ladies’ model, the Reference 4700/1A. While later generations of this reference feature white date wheels, these first-gen examples are equipped with black date wheels that meld beautifully with the dial. 

Housed in a 25mm stainless steel case by Favre Perret, this example features a black ‘Sigma’ dial by Stern Frères with applied, white gold indices, a lumed ‘pencil’ handset, and the aforementioned black date wheel. Powered by the Patek Philippe quartz Calibre E19 and paired to an integrated, stainless steel bracelet, it’s every bit as iconic as its larger, mechanical siblings. 

The Nautilus has become a true piece of horological history; an icon of icons; and must be experienced to be understood.

OVERALL CONDITION

The case is in outstanding condition overall showing recent professional refinishing and faint wear from careful handling. Black 'sigma' 'Teak' dial with applied white gold and Tritium plots is in very good condition with even patination to luminous elements with only minor loss and matching handset. Unsigned crown. Service caseback sticker from PAtek Philippe.

Returns Policy

Our commitment to you does not end at delivery. We offer the following return services to make your experience as pleasant as possible.

10-Day Returns For Timepieces:

Timepieces purchased online can be returned or exchanged within 10 days from when they are shipped or collected.

30-Day Returns For All Other Purchases:

All other online purchases can be returned or exchanged within 30 days from when they are shipped or collected.

On presentation of the original receipt, your purchases may be returned or exchanged at any of our store locations. Alternatively, you may elect shipping to our facility with all the original paperwork. All refunds must be credited to the same tender used for the original purchase. To return the online purchases through secure shipping service, please contact our client service team who will provide you the shipping label.

All returns or exchanges must be in new, unworn condition, with no scratches or markings, not sized or adjusted and in their original packaging and with warranty cards / certificated and instruction booklets.
