Valiant Red Diver Watch
Our Valiant Red Diver Watch has a seconds track made from the checkered markings from the side of a British fire engine, a seconds hand inspired by a vintage fire bell chime, and straps made from upcycled red fire hose used by the London Fire Brigade.

Our much loved Triumph Collection caseback is inspired by a fire alarm, with the words In Case Of Fire Break Glass sitting below our exhibition glass caseback. A special commemoration to our firefighting heroes.

Photographed is William Wood, the Grandfather of Jonny Garrett, Founder of William Wood Watches. William Wood served in the Newcastle & Gateshead Fire Brigade for 25 years where he was stationed at Pilgrim Street Fire Station serving on The Blue Watch. On 29th June 1966 he and 3 fellow firefighters saved 5 small children from a severe house fire and they were awarded a Certificate of Merit for their bravery and courage. Our watches are dedicated to him, and firefighters internationally who protect our communities everyday.

Our Triumph Collection is inspired by our firefighting heritage. Featuring dials from a fire engine dashboard, fire hose gauge hands, brass chronograph pusher buttons made from a 100 year old firefighter's helmet, and a caseback inspired by a fire alarm.

It was a real treat to see watches like the all new Triumph Bronze Jubilee chronograph in person at Windup, and to hear Jonny explain what makes this watch’s purple firehose strap special and rare.

William Wood Watches is an award winning British Independent Watchmaker producing unique watches made from upcycled firefighter materials in dedication to their Founder's late Grandfather, William Wood, a decorated British firefighter. Each watch has a melted-down 100 year old British brass firefighter's helmet inside the watch case and their luxury watch straps are made from upcycled fire hose used by fire services around the world.
The Fire Fighters Charity UK, London Fire Brigade, New York Fire Department Foundation and the Australian Bushfire Relief Fund to name a few.
