Very rare is the watch that can check multiple boxes in the hearts and heads of watch collectors, which is the very reason that any collector — or future collector — needs a Polerouter.
With its ties to the great Gérald Genta — who was only 24 when he designed it — stunning looks, a horologically-significant movement and an interesting history to boot, the Polerouter offers an amazing value proposition that punches far above its weight class.
This particular Polerouter, a Reference 104501, stands out as something incredibly special. Dating to circa 1959, it features a solid 35.5mm 18K rose gold twisted-lug case with an exceedingly rare, multi-tone silver dial with applied indices and a framed, round date aperture at 3 o'clock, a matching dauphine handset, and UG's Calibre 215-1 automatic-winding 'microtor' movement within.
The culmination of design details such as its twisted lug case, applied logo dial, round date window, and outstanding build quality, leave us with a truly important watch from the most famous watch designer in history.
We first procured and sold this watch, the earliest known example of its reference, nearly a decade ago, and have kept close tabs on it as it passed between private collections here in New York City. When it finally became available once again, we jumped at the chance to present it once more for public offer. Strapping it on your wrist you’ll quickly see why collectors are always on the hunt for exceptional Polerouters — and why this example counts as a holy grail for some!

Returns Policy
Our commitment to you does not end at delivery. We offer the following return services to make your experience as pleasant as possible.
10-Day Returns For Timepieces:Timepieces purchased online can be returned or exchanged within 10 days from when they are shipped or collected.
30-Day Returns For All Other Purchases:All other online purchases can be returned or exchanged within 30 days from when they are shipped or collected.
On presentation of the original receipt, your purchases may be returned or exchanged at any of our store locations. Alternatively, you may elect shipping to our facility with all the original paperwork. All refunds must be credited to the same tender used for the original purchase. To return the online purchases through secure shipping service, please contact our client service team who will provide you the shipping label.
All returns or exchanges must be in new, unworn condition, with no scratches or markings, not sized or adjusted and in their original packaging and with warranty cards / certificated and instruction booklets.
