We love a good modern watch with a nod to heritage executed tastefully!

The Omega Speedmaster collection is rife with fantastic reissues, homages, and avant-garde contemporary executions but they don't always meet in the middle with success. The Omega Speedmaster ‘57 Co-Axial, however, hearkens back to the very first Speedmaster of 1957, updating it with contemporary features and a movement that horophiles everywhere love. We love it!

This particular example, a Reference 331.10.42.51.01.002 from circa 2015-2016, features a 41.5mm stainless steel case, sapphire crystal, signed crown, tachymeter bezel, black Super-LumoNova dial with matching “broad arrow” handset, exhibition caseback, and a 1678/602 steel bracelet with 15 links. A careful examination of the dial’s sub-registers reveals a sub-seconds register at 9 o’clock and a combination 60-minute and 12-hour totalizer at 3 o’clock. How neat is that? 

Within beats the Omega Cal. 9300, the first chronograph movement from Omega’s in-house Co-Axial mechanical movement family. Automatic and equipped with twin barrels and a column wheel, it features 60 hours of power reserve and a Rhodium-plated finish.

In outstanding condition showing very little handling wear, this special Speedy comes with its inner and outer boxes, international warranty card from 2016, pictogram card, card wallet, instruction manual, boutique envelope for extra links, and travel pouch. 

An incredible value, this is the Speedmaster for those who want a left-of-center chronograph.

OVERALL CONDITION

The case is in fantastic condition overall showing light signs wear from use. Matte black Luminova dial is in flawless, as-new condition with matching 'broad-arrow' handset. Signed crown.
